This pub has a site and views to die for. I talked my wife into having a sandwich there because I fancied a pint of Ringwood Ale. Anyone who know that beer will understand my motive.
We both ordered a prawn sandwich and a pint for me and a Spritza for my wife.
We were the only diners sitting outside and the food came very quickly. The sandwiches were £4.95 each but I felt OK about that because I guessed, in that location anything 'fishy' would be good. There was a tiny amount of prawns in the centre of my sandwich, they were tiny and in one quarter there was just two.
I have never bought such a sad miserably or expensive sandwich and I believe
there is just no excuse.
This makes the meal in the Carvery at £5.00 look more than inviting!

Food portions were big and hot, that's the positives. My mum found a piece of plastic in her burger, I burnt my tongue on my scampi, my salad had no dressing and I spent £16 on a beer, scampi and garlic bread.
